Self-Paced Learning
If you need to upgrade your computer skills to be competitive in today’s business world, NTC has a variety of self-paced computer classes. The self-paced format enables students to work individually with limited instructor assistance at home or on campus. Instructors are available during scheduled hours to assist students and answer course-related questions. These are not lecture-based courses, so weekly attendance is not required. The self-paced format offers the flexibility needed by students. Working at your own speed allows you to work ahead and finish early, if desired, or follow the timelines and due dates outlined in the course syllabus. Many of the courses can be used as electives for associate degree or technical diploma programs. Besides being a good choice for an elective, many of these courses ladder into the following certificates:
