Use the library to begin your research: Locate and evaluate resources in various formats; view them online; or check them out. Visit the library or contact us for assistance.
Instruction
Instructors: Call 715.803.1115, 715.803.1216 or 715.803.1056 to set up library instruction for you class. Library staff will help your students find and use appropriate resources. We are also available to help you get started with individual research projects.
Borrowing Materials
Your NTC student or staff ID number is also your NTC library ID number.
Materials not in the NTC library may be borrowed from other libraries through interlibrary loan. Use WISCAT or BadgerCat to locate materials in other Wisconsin libraries. Request a title by providing a printed copy of the catalog record, emailing item details to lib@ntc.edu , or calling 715-803-1055 (or 1.888.NTC.7144 ext. 1055). Allow 7-14 days for arrival.
Reserves
Reserve materials are located at the circulation desk in Wausau. Checkout times vary. Some reserve materials may only be used in the library. Electronic reserves are available online via Docutek.
Computer Workstations
Laptops and PCs are available for students to use in the library. Limited access to the PCs is also available to community users.
Audiovisual Viewing Areas
Several of the study rooms on the second floor of the library are equipped with VCRs and one has a DVD player for group DVD viewing.
A variety of study rooms are available on both floors of the library.
Copy Machine
A multifunction photocopier (coin op) is located on the library’s main floor. |
