NTC's librarians are happy to help you become familiar with the resources that we provide for you and your students. Please stop by or call for a personal tour or telephone "walk through." Library staff is also available for in-class instruction on finding, accessing, and using information resources. The 50 minute sessions can be held in your classroom or a computer lab (preferred). Please email or call the NTC library (lib@ntc.edu or 715.675.3331, Ext. 1216, 1056, or 1115) to schedule a session for your class.
Orientation and Instruction Services
Circulation Policy - The faculty circulation policy is posted on the NTC Intranet site.
Educational Support Services (ESS) provides expert staff and workstations with software for your use to enhance instruction. A document scanner, laminator and poster-printer (self service) are also available on the Wausau campus. Please contact Maikia Lor (715-675-3331 ext. 1465) for more information.
Electronic Reserves -
Docutek
is the electronic reserves system at NTC. If you would
like to post course reserve materials for your students
to access online, please call 715.675.3331, Ext. 1124,
and a library staff member will set up this service
for you.
Ordering Materials - The library orders all books, videos, CDs and DVDs for faculty. Catalogs are regularly circulated to faculty for material selections, and faculty can call the library staff at 715.803.1055, to order materials.
Reference Services - Library staff is available to assist faculty with research and locating materials to support their instruction. Please contact the reference librarian at 715.803.1115, 1216 or 1056.
Resources to Support Instruction -The library has many materials that provide suggestions, tools and techniques that can be used to enhance teaching and learning. Most can be located using the library's Online Catalog. NTC's librarians are happy to provide assistance as well (lib@ntc.edu or 715.803.1115, 1216, or 1056).
